Shamim Ibrahim

Director | Solicitor

Shamim qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has vast experience working in several areas of law including Wills and Probate, Family, and Immigration.

Shamim is one of the founding members of Ansham White Solicitors. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of legal advice to her clients. As part of her regular commitment towards pro bono work she is a member of Will Aid, Solicitors for the Elderly and other voluntary community organisations.

Shamim is proficient in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

Omair Butt

Director | Associate Solicitor

Omair joined Ansham White Solicitors in December 2018, having previously trained at a criminal defence firm. Omair has experience within the legal industry exceeding 10 years.

Within the team at Ansham White Solicitors, Omair has a key role of dealing with all areas of law that the firm specialises in, he has particularly shown proficiency when dealing with contentious probate, Wills and family matters respectively (not exclusively), as he seeks to increase his repertoire of skills. Omair is a valued member of staff and is excellent at multi-tasking. Aside from actively dealing with file work he often trains and supervises junior staff members and trainee solicitors.

Outside of work Omair enjoys participating in and watching sports and spending time with his family. Omair is also able to communicate in Punjabi and Urdu/Hindi.

Yumna Malik

Trainee Solicitor

Yumna joined Ansham White Solicitors in January 2023 securing her role as a Trainee Solicitor after graduating from her LLB and LPC at Swansea University.

She predominantly collaborates with her peers on family and probate matters ensuring that all matters are handled delicately and with sensitivity.  Whether you are looking for advice on divorce, child arrangements, Wills or other family and probate matters, Yumna is here to provide guidance and support on each matter.

Outside of the office, Yumna enjoys travelling.

Shazia Kazmi

Consultant Solicitor

After graduating with a commendation from the University of West London in 2013, Shazia has worked in multiple areas of law as a qualified solicitor, including Personal Injury, Family, Employment, Commercial leases, Litigation and Immigration. She has recently joined Ansham White Solicitors as a consultant Solicitor. Her dedication and sincerity towards her clients is the reason why many of them choose to return, also referring their family and friends for all their legal needs.

Her interests outside of the office include charity fund raising and organising events.

Shazia is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.

Shazia Khan

Consultant

Throughout her career, Shazia has been dedicated to guiding and advocating for clients, particularly in navigating the complexities of SEND law, EHCPs, and the Care Act for young people with complex needs. Her compassionate approach led her to Ansham White in 2023, where she works as a Consultant.

Shazia has a special interest in divorce, child arrangements and the division of matrimonial finances. From the initial application stage to final hearings and interim applications, she ensures her clients feel supported and understood during challenging times. Shazia takes pride in her ability to provide calm guidance and empathy, preparing clients for the journey ahead and ensuring successful outcomes.

Beyond her legal practice, Shazia finds joy in interior design projects, travelling and keeping fit.

Vikas Mehta

Solicitor Advocate (Higher Rights Civil Proceedings)

Vikas joined Ansham White as a consultant in January 2016 and has over 10 years of experience in a number of legal practice areas, in particular Civil Litigation, Wills, Probate and contractual agreements. He has also practised property law, including litigation matters arising from mortgage repossessions and landlord and tenant disputes.

Vikas previously worked in investment banking, and has sound knowledge of financial contracts and commercial loan agreements. Vikas possesses excellent communication skills and understands the importance of building and nurturing client relationships.

Outside of work, Vikas is an avid reader, enjoys travelling and is fluent in French.

Jihad Al Najjar

Legal Consultant

Jihad joined Ansham White Solicitors in March 2021 as a Legal Consultant.

Over the years he has gained knowledge and expertise in diverse areas of law including Civil litigation, Family Law and Commercial Leases. Within these areas, Jihad has a vast amount of experience dealing with court proceedings. Jihad offers in house advocacy and is proficient in representing his clients at court.

Jihad is fluent in Arabic and English
